Our Mission
Advocating for Companion Animals with Special Needs
Lil BUB’s Big Fund exists to advocate for special needs companion animals and build a community that celebrates and fosters the human animal bond. With a focus on animals who are the most difficult to adopt, the most expensive to care for, and who are at a high risk of euthanasia.
Sharing BUB’s Message with All
Lil Bub’s Big Fund provides grants to shelters nationwide and partners with shelters to create special needs foster program initiatives. We visit schools to promote kindness and inclusion. Through our work, we share BUB’s message of overcoming adversity and the knowledge that the things that make us different are worthy of being seen and appreciated.
Education
BUB was a very special, one of a kind critter
Discovered as the runt of a healthy feral litter in a tool shed in rural Indiana in the summer of 2011, Lil BUB was taken in as a rescue when it was clear that she would require special care. Watch the video below to learn more about the miracle of BUB.
“Every animal deserves care and a loving home, and Lil BUB’s Big Fund is making that a reality”
