MEET ZELDA
Meet Zeda, who was recently taken in by a trusted rescue we work with. Last week, they were asked to pull her as she was in danger of euthanasia because she hadn’t been adopted due to her Eosinophilic Granuloma Complex diagnosis.
Her disease is presenting in two ways at the moment: through two rodent ulcers in the top of her mouth and as an open medallion wound on her chest and neck that has been very difficult to heal.
As a result of the medallion, she has to wear clothes to protect her from scratching herself and she is now a known fashion ICON. Eosinophilic Granuloma Complex is not contagious at all and Zeda loves other cats and is very social. Our hope is to get her medallion healed and get her on the right cocktail of treatments, so that she’ll be able to join the cat lounge as a resident in June and find her forever home!
